THE GODFATHER'S HOME
4/5 hours

About 60 km from Palermo, Corleone is a small town best known for its mafia connection.

Over the years, it has also become a symbol of the Mafia phenomenon on an international level due to its links with some of the most powerful Mafia families and to the fame it has acquired through the cinema.

The famous novel by Mario Puzo was adapted into a series of films directed by Francis Ford Coppola. It tells the story of the Corleone mafia family led by Don Vito Corleone (played by Marlon Brando in the film) and his son Michael (Al Pacino).

The story realistically explores the power, loyalty and corruption of the Italian-American mafia.

The visit to the huge Godfaher's home is pleasant and the local guide, with a strange American accent that says it all, entertains guests nicely... not to be missed.
